Most of my race team are Houbens from stock birds I bought from of David Clausing of Florida. I feel he has the best race birds. He has won hundreds of thousands of dollars in races all over the world. The Houben strain to me is a very versatile strain of racing homers as it seems to do well at medium and long races some of my other racing strains consist of Janssen, Hvrs Jan Ardens Gordon, Stichelbauts and Van Reet. I’m also breeding out of a pair of grizzles which are a cross between Bandit and White lightning blood. I am also trying to produce superior blacks, by crossing a Black Diamond hen to a South African Eagle. My other blacks come from a Clausing pair where the cock is black and the hen is a blue bar.
